My God! Somebody must have made a pretty penny building all the new schools to replace the old (but not in the same areas of course).

Here are a few more:-
Elkington Street Infant/Junior? School, Aston.
St. Mary's Infant and Junior School, Whitehouse Street/Avenue Road, Aston. My old school between 1949 and 1955.
Nechells Park Secondary Modern (Mixed), Charles Arthur Street, Nechells (to give it its proper name - apologies Derek). Usually lovingly referred to as Charlie Arthur Street. My old school between 1955 and 1959.
Not forgetting
BRITISH SCHOOL OF MOTORING DRIVING SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nechells Secondary School, Elliott Street, Nechells. Only the infants school remains. The school badge had the squirrel on it holding a branch (same as the Ansells Brewery emblem). This was the wife's school.

Tinkers Farm ?

Yes Tinkers farm boys and girls schools have now both gone, the name was changed to Northfield Comp for a few years till it demolition.

Didn't anyone go to Dulwich Road Secondary Modern School for girls except me!! I think it is now a Leisure Centre.Don't remember a badge whilst I was there, but one year I have a black beret.
