I have been known to trim round the stepping stones with scissors.this is true honest. i saw a man kneeling on his lawn with a pair a scissors cutting the grass
Quicker than using shears.

Oh no, why did I look at the weather for the weekend.

I tempted fate by watering the garden last night. It was raining during the night, when I got up at six o'clock, and is still coming down.
Cold wind as well. Only feeling 8 deg. Air temperature, 11 deg. Summer in NE Scotland.

Love your photos of Mr. Bumble Like a number have said, we have had an influx of Magpies this year, and whilst we had quite a number of blackbirds and other smaller ones, they now seem to have deserted us. The pigeons are regular visitors as are the squirrels.
