Not quite in my garden, but not far away.

An Oystercatcher, sitting eggs.






I've been keeping an eye on them for a few days now.

Love the oystercatcher. Had to zoom in to see the eggs, amazing how they blend in with the surroundings, I mean I know they are designed to do so, but it's still amazing.

Also love the photo of the Oyster Catcher Steve. Like Kat, amazed how they blend in with the rocks. I'll guarantee though that any predators would spot them immediately

Down to two eggs this morning.

Even if any last long enough to hatch, the Gulls or Crows will have the hatchlings, I'm afraid.

Yes, the peach and the end pink have had lots of flowers already. There's one more bush that hasn't flowered yet.

saw a black wild rabbit not in my garden but in the field at first i thought it was a bird in the grass untill i got me bins out for a better view

Lovely weather here, hopefully all of my fellow members have had excellent weather too!

I've done some gardening, moving pots. re-potting, tidying, watering. Also re-potted some houseplants The bourganvillia plants will need to come inside in the Autumn, so I've got room now I've sorted the houseplants.

its very hot here again every thing is drying up.including me
i done some clearing of a mans garden today he had to go in a home. the garden now is overgrown with brambles and a tree had grown in front of his door.
but it got too hot so i will continue tomorrow.

Wife found dead sparrow in the garden yesterday, and we have just found a dead magpie. The same one was in the garden earlier this morning [identified by short tail] , and seemed quite fit

Sorry to hear about finding the dead birds, how upsetting for you.

I've been in the garden today, very warm, mainly watering. I've topped the pots up well with water to keep them extra hydrated over the weekend!

A bit black over Bill’s mothers around 7.15 then 15 minutes later thunder lightning and 30 minutes of torrential rain. Won’t need the watering can this evening

my wild flowers doing ok in the belfast sink...sweet peas starting to come out now..have no idea of the name of the pretty pink plant at the bottom of the garden..i didnt plant it but it comes up every year

Never seen such heavy rain for years. Was going to fill the pool today but saved me the job and water, Nearly two inches in less than an hour. At least it's made the fish come up to the top today
