'Cesspit' walk between major stations smells of urine and littered with needles

Visitors flocked to Birmingham this week to ride behind The Flying Scotsman from the picturesque Moor Street Station. The walk to it from New Street is far less attractive.

It has always had an atmosphere more like an unimportant alleyway than a major route, even without any unpleasant addirions

Yes, considering it links the two stations and a lot of the bus services as well as the Bullring and HS2, it could be better.
