Iommi family

No, he is definitely the right person. The details on his page on the CWGC all match except his name.

For some reason he enlisted as Alfred Henry Foster. It may be he wasn't the son of Luciano (or Alfred Foster for that matter) and thought it easier to enlist under Foster rather than Pechio.

His service records appear to have survived.
Ahh I see. got ya!!

Right ive put all the kids on the ancestry tree, with both perchio/perca surnames, but im not sure about the Alfred Foster one, Im sure even his headstone/plaque says Foster. strange one! shame he didn't want the name he was born with

As I said the most likely explanation is that he wasn't really a Pechio but that's just surmising. I'm not sure if when he enlisted his mother was still a Foster and not yet a Barker.

I'd list him as Pechio (he may still be Luciano's son) or whatever you've listed his sisters as but when I enter his death, in the description section I'd put 'listed as Foster'.

Though it's whatever you find easiest to understand, there is no right away.
