Yes not sure if you’ve seen on tree, someone sourced a photo of her for me a while ago, probably the oldest photo I’ve got so far![]()
Sorry for being a bit of a doubting Thomas but a pre 1879 photo of the wife of a bricklayer?

Suzanne - as far as I can see your tree is private so we can't see anything on it.Yes not sure if you’ve seen on tree, someone sourced a photo of her for me a while ago, probably the oldest photo I’ve got so far
is it possible that the census was not filled out? John perca had passed by 1914, could he have not come here at all, but Alexandra did? I’m not sure
Looks as if that Lydia had a daughter also Lydia but she was married by 1914 so wasn't Lewis any more.
I posted the link on here but it was some time ago now, if anyone would like to see just let me know and ill send link again.Suzanne - as far as I can see your tree is private so we can't see anything on it.
Lydia Lewis nee (Russel) I have her husband to Edward Lewis , this is my second great grandmother.
Elizabeth barker had Alexandra perca out of wedlock with John perca. She went on to marry a foster, and had three children, one being Alfred Henry foster, he fought in the war and died in France, some family went to see his grave a few months back. The relation is right as we have some personal items of Alfred. Why do you have an Elizabeth Barker as the mother of Alexandra Perca?
Also the wife of Richard Foster and the mother of Alfred Henry appears to have been an Elizabeth Fenton.
So its the second one, to be honest her name Elizabeth Barker and the photo was sourced by family, not ancestry, I assumed Barker was her maiden name, but maybe she married a barker, split and married a foster, and had Alexandra perca somewhere in-between? she was a bit of a floozy so I heardThe mother of Alfred Henry, Rose (Rosina) and George was Elizabeth Fenton. She married Richard Foster in 1896 and on the 1901 census her mother, Eliza Fenton, is living with them.
I can see that is another Alfred Henry Foster who died WWI but his mother married a Frank Barker in 1914. So she would either have been a Foster or something else before she married a Foster.
