No date for this but must be around late 1960s/70s. What are the two box-like structures (one next to the concrete planter the others on the raised bed) ? Viv.

Aiden, master brummie, let's see if you can help me out. Somewhere in the horse fair, Bristol St area was a haberdashery come sewing shop by the name of Rosie. Any idea where it was located. Much obligedThere is a lovely atmospheric watercolour of the Horsefair by David Cox on BMagic https://www.bmagic.org.uk/objects/1909P55
Rosies was there for some years pre 1960Aiden is no longer a member of the forum. If you tellmus th approximate year then it might be listed in Kellys
There is no firm listed in the 1956, 1957 or 1958 Kellys under that name. The Haberdashery section for these years under trades does not seem to list anyone in the described area, the nearest being Louis Seff in the Market Hall. It looks like the shop was very small and not listed
Thanks for thatThere was a Tailor's trimmings shop in Hurst Street under the name M Rose. Listed in the phone book in the 1950s.

What a disappointment, no pints served there!I thought it was a pub but I see it's a bank.
