  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

There is no firm listed in the 1956, 1957 or 1958 Kellys under that name. The Haberdashery section for these years under trades does not seem to list anyone in the described area, the nearest being Louis Seff in the Market Hall. It looks like the shop was very small and not listed
 
There was a Tailor's trimmings shop in Hurst Street under the name M Rose. Listed in the phone book in the 1950s.

Yes . It is in the 1956 Kellys, but not included under haberdashery section, Maurice Rose, 48 Hurst St
 
Thanks a lot. Its won me a long standing bet as I always said it was in Hurst Street but my brother said it was in Hurst Street just below the discern. CHEERS
