Lyn I am not trying to be awkward by responding once again to this post, and I do understand fully that certain information on such a delicate subject should be kept private.
I fully understand also that Helen is trying to find her mother - which must be emotional for her and very difficult - and without Helen naming her, then how can we help without such information.
Having given this some thought - what if her mother is still alive and has never told anyone that she had given birth to a daughter and had her adopted.
What if her family, friends, neighbours were to see this post which could then cause great emotional distress to her if she had kept her daughters birth and adoption to herself.
So how do we get around GDPR when we ask for help tracing someone but not knowing if they are still alive or deceased. Can we name that person and circumstances of why we are searching for them.
William.
