Thanks Lyn, I just wanted to be sure of the facts as I didn't know that area at all. I've had a good day today I've just managed to identify the location for one of the images in post #249, it would be an impossible task without those superb aerial images on the britain from above website. The quality amazes me considering the size of the equipment and the conditions they were under when they took them, plus when they took them they would have had no idea if they were sharp and exposed correctly. We are so spoilt by digital images nowadays.yes i agree john yours are the sunday school and my photos are deffo the cong church under demo

I would agree with this being 94 Clifford Street, hence no front door only a blocked up window.I could do with some help on this one too, I can't find this society in 1955, 64 or 67/68. I think it may be 94 Clifford Street on the corner with Wheeler Street. Thank-you
Yes that's the one, thanks Lyn.
Thanks for your help Rob, it does also fit in with the shops at Nos. 207, 205 & 203.I would agree with this being 94 Clifford Street, hence no front door only a blocked up window.
In 1967/68 Kelly's 205 Wheeler St was a newsagent. Also an entry between 203 & 205 can be seen in photo.
