thanks alan...this photo which i posted some years ago had me baffled as to if the location of victoria road was correct...the number on the back of this bus seems to say no 40

Travelled on 66 daily 1970-80 ie time of your picture to and from work it went past Gosta Green tech and then straight out along Lichfield Rd.

I think it was the number 40B that was in my day's of the 70's

as dionysius said the no 40s did run down victoria road so thats that sorted

In the 1962 Kellys. 125 Park Road Aston is listed as Salvation Army (Industrial & Salvage). This is shown in red on the map

That fits also with the 125 on the wall which confused me if it was Victoria Road
