The youngest son of the late Mrs Idris Jones of Tyngwndwn, farming for years as his established business, selling vegetables and fruit successfully and was highly thought of.
It was by going around his usual places that he learned or exchanged key gossip and stories. He will leave a gap in the village.
He was a wel known character and well respected and always kind and willing to help people, not only in Cross Inn, but all around the region

of Aberaeron, helped by hs assistant Dr James Clarke and Mrs Theodora Rudge. The organist
was Mrs George from Ilwen.
left in grief wer his brother Ifor, Geraiwnt and Gerwaint and Mary; Gwyn, Owen and
Elizabeth (nephew and neice); Bessie (sister-in-law); David John (uncle); Nellie (aunt);
Rhiannon, Morlais and June (cousins). Also there were relatives and close friends. Failing
Mr Brynmor Jones (uncle) not present due to illness.
The bearers were Gwyn, Owen, Gerwyn and Glyn.
The flowers in the chapel were by Mr and Mrs Evans of Ty Coch, and at the grave: Ivor.
