Suddenly, last Monday, the 11th December inPlas Login, his home for only four years, John
Jones died.
The youngest son of the late Mrs Idris Jones of Tyngwndwn, farming for years as his
established business, selling vegetables and fruit successfully and was highly thought of.
It was by going around his usual places that he learned or exchanged key gossip and

he was a wel known character and well respected and always kind and willing to help
people, not only in Cross Inn, but all around the region.
The funeral was Thursday and his remains were buried at Bynwent Pennant.
In the absense of Reverand Eben Ebenezer, the funeral was in the care of Rev. Dilwyn Jones
of Aberaeron, helped by hs assistant Dr James Clarke and Mrs Theodora Rudge. The organist
was Mrs George from Ilwen.

The flowers in the chapel were by Mr and Mrs Evans of Ty Coch, and at the grave: Ivor.
