Stockfield road

I lived at 388 stockfield road Yardley and went to hobmoor school. I remember Rita's chip shop and lawdens bicycle shop in the sixties. My dad drove lorries for birds in digbeth. We moved to banbury with the firm 1966.

I too lived in Stockfield Rd 1960's-70's. No. 138, most of the time I worked at the nearby Wilmot Breeden factory. I particularly remember "the open all hours shop" Mrs. Thorley's which was opposite to Mansfield Rd.
