Another fire in Soho Hill!

oh no..these are the buildings i feared for especially after the watch company next door went up in flames the other week ...they are very old buildings... very upset about this... here are some pics of them in better days..so when these are demolished as they surely will be along with dennisons watch co (now called bill house) and the other old buildings in this st view that makes a massive piece of land to build on..how convenient

sadly as suspected these lovely old buildings have now been demolished following yet another fire on soho hill hope they saved the pillar box

Bet the planning application to build on the site is already with the Planning Dept - happening far too frequently these days
yes bri and when they demolish bill house next door there is going to a massive area to build on....this was the plan for the area many years ago but it was shelved

Hi Judy, I am pretty sure Cheffins was between St. Michaels Road and Soho Avenue, but there again it could have been between Soho Avenue and Park Avenue, I think I have said before I went to HKPS. After moving to Sutton Coldfield we still went to Cheffins for some time until I found a dentists in Aldridge, where I worked, and I still go there, a few teeth less!
I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if you remember the full name of the dentist there? What is your recollection of them?
