It was a bit rough when I went with my friend, we were standing by a pillar and someone threw a glass at the pillar! Luckily we were not injured, but we never went there again. Brum was never short of pubs to visit!The Parisian was owned by Eddie Fewtral (Spelling?), I believe. We played there once, in the late 70's, just when Punk was starting out. We were spat at while playing, country rock, but was supposed to be, a sign of appreciation.

That story Lemonella, is amazing, well before we played there, we used to go there regularly. One night, I had a glass thrown at me hitting me on the head, just above my eye. It bounced off me and smashed on the pillar behind me. The blood was everywhere, 7 stitches later, after being driven to the Accy. I was raring to go
