Bedford TK. Brings back memories of Ash and Lacey who this vehicle belongs to. Bedford/Vauxhall agents; Elt Bros, Prestage's and Rylands. There were many more in the Brum area I'm sure.View attachment 88306Spring Hill c 1960 s
Hi Carol some quality pics again Bernie
Hi Bob Bedford vans seemed to be the workhorse of the time plenty about then , they must have been registered very close together Reg
I visit King's Heath and Moseley quite a bit and they are definitely more inviting than Erdington with farmers Markets and other regular events and an increase in independent shops:emmersed: Even Acocks Green isn't as depressing as Erdington. The transit must have been the biggest ever selling van David , Erdington High Street shopping centre has certainly taken a turn for the worse Brumgum but then so have most of the others
Best shops are off the High Street in KH..I agree Erdington has probably suffered more than the rest Brumgum but none are exactly thriving Acocks Green and Kings Heath are pretty dire to , far too many charity shops and much more competition from new supermarkets don'tt help
There's a thread on a similar forum, Alma Crescent..Wish I could see a photo of Alma Crecsent Vauxhall from way back when. I lived there when I was a little nipper.
Thankyou, Have a nice day, Wally.
