ManBaz commented on thread "The growth of AI", post 24 about my doggy avitar. Perhaps a few notes may be of interest?

We were visiting Filongley, nr Atherstone back in 2008 and as we got out of the car a lovely GSD puppy appeared. Turned out she had been dumped/abandoned. She went to the local animal rescue for a week and wasn't claimed. Rescue rang us and asked us if we would like to adopt her - no disk, no microchip!
We jumped at the chance and brought her home. Our vet said she was about 17 weeks old and would have been born about 25th Jan - the day our previous dog passed away! Fate, can't help but feel we were meant to have her. We named her Bella.

Bella was an incredible dog [aren't they all!]. Friendly, intelligent, and inseparable from me. We were blessed to have 13 wonderful years together but late in 2021 she was showing her age and on 7 Jan 2022 she quietly died at home in the night. Four years ago but still in my heart.

They certainly leave a huge gap in your life but live on forever in your heart.
Lucky Bella, she had a wonderful home with you, I wish they were all so lucky.

I roo met Bella. Only the once but a lovely dog.
I recognised her from the avatar and went to speak to Superdad3.
