Are Tommy cookers still available. Haven't seen/used one since I left the Royal Marines.they will come in handy when we are out in the field to have brew up on me tommy cooker i had forgot about them.

Birmingham Christmas of the past
Father Christmas on November 5th.? I wonder if he would make a good Guy for the bonfire. Next thing you know they`ll be selling Easter eggs in January !

However that is not the Tommy cooker that I knew.
The military one was a flat metal box affair containing eight hexamine blocks.
Very efficient at warming rations and boiling water but left a thick coat of black tarry stuff on the mess tin.
