Milk

My parents always bought sterilised milk so I was brought up on it. I changed to pasteurised milk in my late 20s when I was working in Bournemouth and have used it ever since.
Possibly said this earlier on in the thread but I remember when we used to go on holiday to Cornwall it was very difficult to find stera but we did find one shop that sold it - they were possibly used to Brummie holidaymakers!

My parents used to get a bottle of each delivered, never understood why! I liked the milk at school but the taste of the milk from the tall skinny bottle not so much!

my fav was channel island gold top very creamy to drink and on cereals for breakfast

Another milk product. Don't remember it as milk as such, but I think we had Ideal cream in a squat tin.

Yes, this was actually unsweetened condensed milk. Mostly we had sweetened condensed, but this was almost like pouring cream onto you plate.
