IN OUR GARDENS 2025

I have a Ceyomur trail cam.. It uses 8 rechargeable energiser batts which last
2/3 days depending on setting. I haven`t caught anything remarkable yet apart from mice on the feeders.

Thanks Smudger, that makes me feel better. Last night was the first time I used the 12volt supply, and it worked at night, so the batteries were at fault. Sadly no hedgehogs, but a three legged cat, that tried to work out what was happening

not only has my friend got a robins nest under his scooter he now thinks he had a hedgehog that has taken up residence under it as well you can just see him to the right of the wheel

Disaster.
I opened the kitchen blind this morning to be greeted by this sight down the garden

went for a closer look


So after 20+ years I am on the hunt for a new bird bath bowl. Unless we decide to replace the base as well but that is 30+ years old.
I think it might have been a fox as I found some "poo" nearby which looked like fox's (according to the images on Google). We do have foxes around.

On a happier note - this rose (Margaret Merrell) bought 10 years ago in memory of my Mom (Margaret) is the best it has ever been.
