Great Russell Street

Angela,i think the young boy is standing on the opposite side of the road to the mini,shown on the other picture.It would have been taken between New John St West and Gt Russell St,and the block of flats in the background would be White House(now demolished)Moss
 
Great photos Lyn. If you have posted them before, then I had forgotten them, so it is brilliant to see them again. I wonder what the pub was called that is shown on the corner of the middle photo No.92?
 
hi judy...im sure one of our gt russell st experts would know the name of the pub....these pics were orignally posted by john houghton and i saved them so reposting..but each one has to be resized before i can put them on...at this point i would like to say a big thank you stars (eric) who is helping by resizing corrrectly and emailing them back to me..feel a bit like a yo yo at the min lol..........absolutley cracking pics of this street...

Lyn, post 102, pic 3, we stood on that spot just a couple of weeks ago, how different it is now. I know which one I prefer.

Been away only just learned thyat some B****has hacked into the system and deleted photos, so at risk of repeating myself, that shop was my nan's, Mrs Jones
