My grandmother married Maxmillion Fischer - the son of Harry Fischer who was born in Kiel Germany. They lived at the back of 60 Pershore St in 1891 census - Harry was a sausage skin manufacturer however in 1901 is described as a butcher and then living in Dean St. This is interesting maybe a coincidence or did Bruno take over from him?Can anyone look up Bruno Schulze, sausage skin maker at 60 Pershore Street Birmingham?
Thanks
Brilliant, that helps alot. Are there any directories between 1918-30, I am looking to see when the business was in Henry E Smith's name before transfering back to a Schulze. We know he took over the business in 1918, but are unsure if the name changed or how long he owned the business for.
