lyn
thanks very much great infoHi Lyn,
The 40 and 40E bus ran from Lozells, through Aston to Salford Bridge, then along Tyburn Road and Holly Lane to Fort Dunlop.
The 66 bus ran from the city through Aston Cross and Salford Bridge, then turned right along Tyburn Road and Eachelhurst Road through to Pype Hayes Park
The bus in the picture is a Daimler Fleetline in West Midlands PTE livery. The PTE took over the Birmingham Corporation buses on 1st October 1969 so the photo must have been taken after that.
