At "blooming" last, these poor lads sent down the pits by force, to work in unimaginable hardship and danger, then refused any recongnition from any government, for decades , during the war were even accused of being cowards????, now they have some reparation, great photo's as always Dave, I will get up there this year come hell or high water.paul
Beautiful photo's, of a beautiful, peaceful place, so very far removed from what those young men experienced in the North Atlantic, and other of the great sea's and oceans around the world, a worthy place for their comrades to remember them. Thanks Dave. Paul
Looks very moving Dave, dwindling bunch of comrades now, we tend to slightly overlook our brave mariners, their discomfort in heavy weather as well as warfare, still being a member of the "Illustrious" FAA you will know a little about this.paul
