B`ham & Fazeley Cut

Great shots on that Dave, pity there's so much graffiti everywhere! The new buildings look good even though they replaced old ones. Haven't ever been on some parts of the canal, but it runs very close to us at the Fazeley end, so am familiar with that, especially the Fazeley junction, where the Coventry cut meets the B'ham - Fazeley one, we ony live a couple of hundred yards from the Coventry cut and all the kids used to love watching the barges on it.

Aston Science Park was on the branch of the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal, called the Digbeth Branch. British Waterways did undertake repairs from time to time, but it is not clear if the above image was at a time of maintenance or through unplanned opening of the lock gates at Ashted Top lock.
