Where is this tram please?

Is it the start of Slade Road, the building to the right being the rear of the Erdington Arms pub? The cottages in the distance look like the first ones after joining the road from Salford circus now.

I agree Lloyd that the back of the erdington arms but is it not going towards salford bridge bottom of gravely hill????? if the back of the pub is on the right????
SORRY IF I GOT THIS WRONG

Spot on Lloyd, the tram has just turned into Slade road from Salford bridge, the building on the right is actually the side of the Erdington arms.

I suppose I meant the side of the rear, if you know what I mean...well, I do anyway.
It's the only bit of Slade Road I don't recognise, so by deduction it must be a bit that isn't there now, thus my answer. Ta-Daaa!

these are 2 pic posted under the erdington arms it my give you a better in sight into the tram going on to salford bridge in order to turn onto route into the city. first pic posted in error will post later the one I wished to post.

that Slade Rd tram is aproaching the railway bridge (just round the corner) then 1st left is Hillside Rd where I live for 25 years. Eric

If you mean Mike's original photo, I've never seen it before. The trouble is, there are references to lots of photographs in posts all across the forum that aren't there any more, if you joined after they were removed you haven't had a chance to see them.

Have been off air over last few days so just catching up. Thank you all for putting me right on this one. All the Birmingham tram photos I have or have seen are from before I moved to Birmingham. Tram books and Alton Douglas books have given me many clues to locations but every now and again I get a photo taken somewhere I just don't know so it's great to have the help that is always given so readily and quickly here on the Forum.
Mike
