Not technicaly the Parade, so where then John? Its another case where I have to give it to you because you are so close. If I left it open it wouldn't be fair to you. Its the junction of the Parade & Camden St. It was called The Parade Service Station, but the garage is really in Camden St.
Phil, I knew it because I used the cafe to the right of the photo (out of shot) for about 2 years every morning about 6 ish when they opened, had to get in early because it would fill up with
M and B draymen shortly after.
We used to pass by it quite often, but we used a café further up the hill on the corner of Powell St and Camden St. We used to do a lot of work for Sapcote who were based in Camden St for a good many years.
