Still on the same theme, Where is this Cafe located? This is one I have never used, though I must have passed it on occasion.

Right Phil I,ll Start us off. The built quite a few of this style block of houses round the town mainly on the outskirts and on the main roads so jump straight in, Northfield Rd on the way to California. Dek

I thought I knew every caff in brum, but evidently not, there's a chord somewhere at the back of my head, but just can't place it, when we find out I'll kick myself.

Not by the Glebe, not on Bearwood Rd, and John I thought I knew every cafe in Brum as well from my days on the road. But I never used this place although there could be a reason for this which might become clear later.

Phil i,m trying to read into your clue not much to read you being a driver maybe it stood off the road ,say on a service rd you drivers didn,t like to walk to far lets try the Coventry Rd just passed the underpass at the Swan Dek
 
It looks like the row of shops on the Coventry Road at Sheldon just
opposite the now gone Wagon and Horses public house.

I suppose its time for a clue. I didn't want to tell you that the café was no longer in existence and that it been demolished for an express reason.

well i was going to have another guess at around the stechford way phil..but reading your clue it must be somewhere by the aston expressway...maybe..

Dave not Wolverhampton Rd.

Dek there is or was a cinema near to this area, has it been demolished I haven't been this way for about ten years.
