W J Pearson and Sons Limited - Where?

I’m trying to find out where I took this picture of W J Pearson and Sons Limited. Taken in the 70s. Probably a street running West to East judging by the light and shadows. Also a one way street but with a large lamppost.

Internet searches are dominated by W.J Pearson & Sons, a farm near Banbury - There is a "Pearson &Sons" Electrical contractors business at 435 Stratford Road, Shirley, but their website gives no indication of how long they have been in business and their current address looks nothing like the building in the photograph. Sorry!
 
This may be a silly question - but is it definitely Birmingham?
A newspaper archive search comes up with a firm of that name in 1970 based in Nottingham
