Hello,
I own a TVR Vixen which was bought new by a guy from Solihull in 1972.
I was wondering if anyone else owned a TVR in the sixties/seventies?

Hang on to your TVR's. They are now out of business, but i've heard, there is a development office opened up, just up the road from where i live. Not sure if that means they will make a comeback or perhaps come up with a new concept car with the name TVR.

A friend built a TVR kit car circa 1955-60? and he still has it, the photo is of similar TVR. Len.

TVR, a specialist car manufacturer started by TreVoR Wilkinson in Blackpool in 1947 has, according to the company website, ceased 'in-house' manufacture.
The midlands agent, David Gerald of Inkberrow, has this picture of one outside the local pub, the Bull.
(For those of you who don't follow the famous radio soap opera, The Archers - The Bull at Inkberrow is really the Bull at Ambridge - or is it the other way round!)

Wendy please excuse me for disagreeing but you are posing - beautifully I am add - on the bonnet of a Triumph GT6. I know because I used to work at Triumph in Electrical Design.

See Here

Ooops sorry folkes yet another blond moment. It was a Triumph GT6. I have just had my knuckles rapped by him indoors.

I know now why I like you so much Alf:)........sadly:( it was a long time ago.
