Could I get this tidied up for an 85 year old neighbour who's just spent days looking for it and says it's very precious to her as it has her parents on it.
She's the young lady fourth from the right on the front row.

.I came across two pictures but they are badly damaged the glass is smashed and they are damp, I couldn’t get the back off the one without cutting myself. I would appreciate any help you can give

Your pics are too small to work on, however, I found a copy of the original B&W photo from 13th Sept 1938 and coloured it, regards, John.

Seems familiar from fishing days, on the Severn.

Lower Lode Hotel is regularly flooded by the River Severn which flows in front of it. At the time of this picture the river is in flood but has receded from the hotel. Evidence of flood defences can be seen beside the door.

thats it mort and pedro...now called the lower lode hotel...crikey its very old just looked at the photos of it and even the old wall showing in jodies photo is still there..jodie your family would have been sitting outside the right hand side of the hotel..you can even see the arched glass above the door..click on link below..i am sure some of our members will be along to help tidy up your photo
