Lyn, I did have a quick look, but the resolution is quite low. if you could rescan them at a higher resolution, we may be in with a better chance of improving them

I wonder whether anyone would mind having a go at this pic of me with my parents on Blackpool beach in 1950 please?

I've had a go but could not decide what the left and bottom areas of the image were so cropped these areas and concentrated as best as I could on the figures.

Thank you so much oldMohawk, my parents were sitting on the beach so I assume it's sand. It made me smile when I saw dad was wearing a shirt and tie and the gent in the background looks like he's wearing a jacket, even though it must have been warm as mum's in a sundress. Thanks again.

Hi Morturn, I have photo, would appreciate if you could improve on it. It's my great great grandmother, and grandmother. Does anyone know where the second photo was taken. IMG_5900.JPGIMG_5904.JPG

only a guess jackie but those steps look weathered by the sea..i would say taken at a seaside resort if so its anyone guess which one...man behind looks to be wearing sun glasses so a sunny day

Yes Lyn, I thought Blackpool, I'm not very good. It looks like a windy and cool day, they all have got jackets on. It's my grandmother Irene Elsie Evans she was with her friend. I met not sure on age, looking into it.

Could someone have a go at removing the creases from this photo please? I'll post it on the correct thread (Tedbury Crescent School) and see if anyone can remember any of the faces. I can do 10 - we think it's about 1956 but may be slightly earlier. Many thanks.
