as some of you are aware our very good friend maurice has been very ill for some time now and is still far from well...i have been keeping in touch with his wife jan for updates...hopefully things maybe looking a little brighter than a few weeks ago...with jans permission i am posting her latest update received today....she also said he is most concerned that he cant get to his beloved computer but they are hoping that when he comes home or can sit up in hospital he will be able to read your messages of support...

maurice stay strong..we are all thinking about you and need you back on this forum...take care my friend

Hi Lyn,
I'm spending most of my time in the hospital with Maurice - he's had his second chemotherapy session and is looking a little better - not home yet, although I have a hospital bed and all sorts of 'trimmings', so we hope it will be soon. Definitely not out of the woods yet, and very, very weak - he can't even sit up yet.

I have not heard from Maurice for a while now, like everyone else I am hoping he is getting over his problem with prostate cancer we all wish him all the best.
 
I guessed that Maurice was unwell by his absence on BHF,
He wished me well after my spell in hospital: I can return the good wishes to him by wishing that he makes a good recovery and soon joins us here.
 
My very best wishes to you, Maurice, just as soon as you are able to see this thread which we all hope will be soon.
