The woman I've become

Thinking about the woman I've become,
everything I've achieved,
everything I've done

Thinking about the girl I was,
the dreams that I dreamed,
the dreams that I lost.

Thinking about the girl who grew up,
all the loved ones I've seen,
all the loved ones who have gone.

Thinking about the woman I am,
proud to be strong,
realising you can never change your past...

That is why I am the woman I've become.

being confident in what you now are,
at this time in your life

Tigerlily - I have not been able to catch up with as many posts as I would like on forum in the last few months. This poem is great and expresses exactly what I would like to put into verse if I had the talent :)
