You can be sure to have an enjoyable pintgreat photo BB...gunmakers arms is now open again....recently been taken over by the two towers brewery who have their own brewery at the back of pub....great to see it open again...some age to this pub

Mikejee, thanks for your post. You may be aware that I have a little interest in Gun Makers Arms, which was called Pike and Musket around 1820. ( 93 Bath Street ) I have spent hours trying to find a photo so far no luck.The Gun is not the same as the Gunmakers Arms (no 92), but a beerhouse just down the road at no 82.

Remembering that date is publication date and probably refers to year before, Tookey is listed in Kellys in 1888 till 1908, but not in 1884 or 1910.

Not quite clear exactly what tge new name is as it just says it is to be renamed after some Mason guy. The main bar has been a gallery for several years, so that is not really a new innovation.should be interesting to see how it pans out...
