The Beautiful Swan

rowan

Born a Brummie
I love this photo of the swan taken by my ex-husband about 1960. It looks so elegant.

It is elegant Rowan. Pete helped rescue one a couple of years ago when th RSPCA did not respond to calls for help. It took three fisherman and the swan cussed them all the while but she fluffed up her feathers when released from the plastic and looked back as if to say thank you. Jean.

When i was a child i used to be a beautiful swan how come i turned into an ugly duckling thats not how it should be, never mind. Dek:D:D:D

I've had a hell of a week, one way or the other, and tonight I'm just trying to wind down and look forward to a tranquil weekend. That photo of the swan is precisely what I need - she (or he) is the very epitome of quietness, peace and tranquility, and I've printed off her (or his) photo and pinned it to my noticeboard. She (or he) is beautiful.

Anyone going to look at rowans & my Swans & anyone got anymore:(

Just caught up with you Alfie. They look like a married couple don't they, he's following her looking sheepish.

These are two swans we picked up at Chelmarsh club table top sale for two pounds. Brought them back and went on the internet where the were valued at eighty pounds the pair. We did a swap with one of the lads for a video camera. Prefer the real swans though. Jean.

Best I could do for now Alf:( gone through all our pics and can only find ducks. Well luv a duck eh. :):) Jean.

Nice one Brumgum.
