TAYLOR

rowan

Born a Brummie
We have visitors at the moment and they have been most impressed with all the kind help from my "cyber" pals and have asked if I would try with their family name so I said I'd give it a go as I am sure someone will come up with an answer

The Taylor family lived in Aston. there was CLIVE, SYDNEY, EDITH and ALFRED. Clive was the father of my cousin and she has never known her grandparents names. Can someone help please? :)

Many thanks: :D

Hi, I’m the granddaughter of Clive Douglas Taylor. I have been trying to follow my tree but am struggling!
The above info was amazing, thank you, however I can’t seem to get a marriage certificate for his parents- no matches. I’m trying to find his Grandparents names as I believe online of his grandmothers was Welsh from the Swansea area possibly ( I have a picture of her in full national costume).
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it Appreciate it! Thank you in advance

If you mean the marriage of Harry Taylor and Louisa then Alberta gives a possible reference in post #4. But does suggest checking Charles birth cert for confirmation

I'm not sure it is right as the only Clive Douglas Taylor I found seemed to be reg with mmn Jones. I then wondered if Louisa was a widow when she married Harry
