this young lady certainly deserved winning this prize...i had a look and i think the corner shop was on the corner of manor road and station road aston near the villa ground so i am guessing the family lived nearby

What a character, fair paly to her. I hope things worked out ok. I know a girl who had to do the same with her 4 younger siblings too. She made the news papers with her plight.
