YES!!! How can Americans enjoy them?Did you ever have the misfortune to try Hershey's original ?
Caramac, Mintola and now banana split toffee. I can taste them now but wouldn't dare eat the toffee - fillings and crowns prevent it.

Thanks,LP.i wonderd why vomit stunk.no i knowMike, only just been able to get onto the site. For some reason it didn't connect after my last post. No, I haven't tried a Hershey bar but decided to see what other people thought and this is what came up (not being ironic):
According to MailOnline, the chemical found in Hershey's chocolate, vomit, parmesan cheese and sour butter is called butyric acid. ... They also claim the butyric acid — which gives vomit its acidic smell and taste — gives American chocolate its "tangy" flavor.
Needless to say Mike, I won't be trying one in a hurry!

I have this vague memory of small conical plastic cups, with a stand and a plastic spoon. The cup was full of chocolate. Late 50’s early 60s.
Anyone else remember these?
I've a feeling they were called knickerbocker glorys and modelled on the ice cream sundae. Sweet chocolate and other sweet layers and at the very bottom a small layer of some pink fondant stuff with a sharp taste(cherry flavour?). If we're talking about the same thing I loved 'em.I have this vague memory of small conical plastic cups, with a stand and a plastic spoon. The cup was full of chocolate. Late 50’s early 60s.

These things really tasted nice for the first 10 minutes or so but towards the end they started to rock hard, and also had the little comic strip inside made of wax paper with a cartoon and a gift you could send for, normally thought it was in America
