Hi Dave
Those photos of the beach at Bracbridge took me back to the early 60s when we used to have a few beers in the Crown pub and then on a balmy summers night all ramble down to
Crown gate entrance to Sutton Park in the late hours of saturday night and Sunday morning and go skinny dipping. ...Great days....ooooh the memories.

Dave that was smashing the picture of the beach were we used to swim to the island. I never did skinny dipping unlike my brothers.....oooooh our John! The video bought back so many memories I used to go with my Dad every Sunday morning on this journey through the park and out through Windley Gate to visit my aunt who lived off Monmouth Drive. I know you can't do it now as they have closed it off. The most exciting trip was always Christmas day when we would visit and I knew I would get a present.

Don't think it distracts at all Dave well not for myself, happy memories its well over 30 years since I was there more please

Dave the film and photo's are lovely. Work does take over sometimes but now I am determined to visit the park more. Thanks for sharing with us!

Great photo's Dave, the Grandchildren have only visited Sutton once but they still chatter on about the park. Will look forward to showing them your pic's when I get home. Merry Christmas-Mike.

Welldone again Dave and its nice to see the Ponies again I'd forgotten about them

"was not the US POST OFFICE by the town hall & the main gate where the post office sorting office is now? or was that another one in Sutton?
ASTON "

I always thought it was there too, just down from Sutton Park Station, where the present SO is

chucka the main gate as I believe has always been at the end of Park Road, the US Post Office was on the site of the present S.O. ( I believe)

As an Institute of Advance motorist.! Good speed Dave. Condition of the road leaves much to be desired and very expertly filmed once again. Let me know when you start from banners gate!! I was walking the dog from there today. Nice one.

Thanks Reg (smile) only drove like that for the video, to try and keep it steady (smile), think more in the system, to post ?, but will visit again soon, Dave

Thanks Dave, if you look closely to each side of the road there are a thousand footsteps lightly covered by time, the smaller one's are my girlfriend's who, like me, vanished into the ether. I can smell the vegetation, hear the birds and wander along with my ghosts of yesterday. Thank you. David.

Dave how lovely to have kept those memories all these years. We hope to nip across to the park one day next week. Four Oaks gate to take some photo's. Jean.
