Summer Street

Does anyone have Summer Street on a map, please ? Deemed an 'unnecessary street' by 1912.

It had a pub named the Swan Inn/Tavern, with a licensed virtualler Joseph Brooks (insolvent by1859), G. Morton 1855 and John Southall 1868. This would have been at the junction with Swallow Street.

So a few parts of the street remained (still visible on the 1937 map but unamed). I expect these parts were retained to give access to the College. A new College section was built across the centre of the street. And some other existing buildings also appear to have extended onto the street. Thanks all.
