Southside is probably a term invented by PR people employed by the council. Of course it was not necessary for them to have actually visited Birmingham, or know anything about it, so they ignored anything other than a view of the map
It goes as far as Highgate on the Sherlock Street boundary I think. There's parts of Digbeth that's the Irish Quarter around High Street Deritend. It's all multicultural now.
I've got more photos of that cardboard Chinese arch, think they might be breaking it up this afternoon.
I think its quite impressive. Pity it has to dismantled so soon.
I suppose with the possible rain tomorrow H @ S are worried that people will possibly be engulfed by wet cardboard and suffocate.
Indeed, Ell, all the manufacturers like Sharwood & Pataks produce a Balti Sauce - and quite nice it is too, if you like curry! If you don't like curry, like my other half, it is pretty repulsive!
