Snow Hill (the Road)

Is it the Clarence Hotel on the corner ? Was it also a music hall ? Run by Mr R. Lucas.

Searching through the newspapers , I also found this and a large number of similar adverts referring to Mr Lucas, but was mystified by the reference to Central Station. However , on looking at others, I found this referred to the Clarence hotel in Blackpool. However there was a Temperance hotel at 101,102 Snow Hill , on the corner of Great Charles Street, as shown on the map named the Clarence. I suspect that the photo was taken after it ceased being a hotel. Up till the 1904 Kellys it is listed as the Clarence hotel, but by the 1908 edition it is Timson Bros, cycle accessories factors.
