i am looking for any inforamtion (preferably pictures) on the Robinson family living in Gibb Heath
the information i have currently available to me is the following:
1. it was a house in the grounds of a file works factory.
2. this factory was situated on Musgrave Road, Winson Green (could have been called Gibb Heath?)
3.there was a railway and possibly a canal at the bottom of the back garden.
4. the railway could have been the Snowhill line
5. it was definitley still existing in the 1940's although at some point it was demolshed and i think houses were built on the factory land.
6. the Robinsons owned the house for a period of time - Charlse Robinson (Owner) died between 1935-37
7.his wife was Hilda Lydia Robinson and she went on to marry Joseph Dainty my grandad's father. Charles Frederick Robinson (R ) 179 Musgrave Road
Gertrude Robinson (Dw) same above
ps This above also had another address attached to them, This is 26 Douglas Road, Handsworth,
1930, David Sydney Robinson (Ro) at 86 Musgrave Road
Lydia Jane Robinson (Rw Dw) as above
1935, Charles Frederick Robinson,(Bo) same address,s (two) as above
i would appreciate all the help i could get as i am having real trouble with this.
