Hello,

My research is still in its infancy, but I have an Ellen ROBINS who married Charles William WHITE in July, 1866.
Both birth certs are in the post.

Would really love to hear from anyone researching the same line.

Thanks.
Chris

Hi Charmonty, Thanks for message - I'm glad the info was useful - if you need help with census's 1881,1891,1901 let me know.

Thank you very much Sheri, you've already been an immense help.
I do have further queries, but my daughter (who helps me with the Family History) has gone away for a few days.

If you don't mind, I'd be very grateful if you are able to perform a couple of look-ups when she returns? Edwin was dead by then I think, but we have others that we couldn't find 1891/1901.

Again, many thanks Sheri :)

Chris

Hi Chris, - I looked on census 1881 - which you may have -
Ellen age 33 living Hawthorn Place, Wheeler St. Aston - Lozells Ward.
Charles age 35 - Railway Lamp Maker
Ellen 4. Harriet 8, Maria 14 a pin maker, William T 3.

census 1891 still living at Hawthorn Place
Charles W. age 45 - Tin Smith
Ellen is 42
Ellen 14 Cabinet Worker, Harriet 18 Jeweller, William T Scholar.

I looked in 1901 and couldn't find either Ellen or Charles - probably need to look for the children - unless they both died or emigrated.
Hope this is helpful.
Sheri
