Perry Common Road, Erdington.

We know get flooding in Perry Common Road from the stream running from what’s was called Perry Common recreation ground, now has a new posh name, which flows under Perry Common road into Witton lakes.
The strange thing is that is where the pelican crossing lights have been installed.
When it rains heavily for hours it floods seeming from the road, but somehow the pipes installed can now not cope with the volume of water cascading down from as far back as Kingstanding.

Viv They were known as a Non-traditional construction, or System build house the Boswell house. Made from concrete panels they had a number of different problems including polluted aggregate ie bits of coal and clinker on the concrete, reinforcement corrosion, cracking and a host of other defects. Designed to cut cost in materials and labour they were a step in the wrong direction
