Were these the houses that were later demolished because of the damp conditions created by the building materials used ?
Viv They were known as a Non-traditional construction, or System build house the Boswell house. Made from concrete panels they had a number of different problems including polluted aggregate ie bits of coal and clinker on the concrete, reinforcement corrosion, cracking and a host of other defects. Designed to cut cost in materials and labour they were a step in the wrong direction
