hi astonian,im always a bit wary of "organic" food as there has been some reports of producers caught out using non organic products for pest controll etc.with all the talk of carbon footprints just look at country of origin on organic products in the supermarkets and you will see a lot of them come from a long way away.so organic doesnt mean "fresh".at home we have started to grow our own veg in containers using no artificial help at all.the taste is great,we know its history and for the price of the seeds and compost ect it works out value for money.patx
