as promised this is the first batch of pics ive sorted from old evening mails dates from 1997 to 2000... didnt quite know where to place them but decided here as in their own way they are inspirational...apologies if they have been posted before...hope you enjoy them.

Wonderful pictures Lyn - I am enjoying looking at them so much. I particularly like the one of Crooked Lane, I have never seen that before.

Thomas street at the junction with Park Lane the lady in the middle of the picture with glasses is my mates Nan out of Park Lane also in the photograph is Aunt Uncle and nephew
 
john.. thank goodness for that..you cant beleive the papers ive got scattered around..it would take me ages to find that copy..you are of course right..thomas st it is...

Astoness, thank you for taking the time to put on the 'photos. I particularly liked the one of the farm in Sparkbrook and the back-to-back houses. Anthea:)
 
They are good old photo's Lyn. No 7 I recognise in one of the where is this quizes but guess what I've forgot where it was. Jean.
 
wendy...its no good for the hands thats for sure..i keep having to wash them and put cream on....lol..

went to see dad yesterday and thank you he is doing good...moms having a wheelchair delivered tomorrow but weve no idea yet when he will be home and to what degree he will have use of the left side...but progress is being made....:)

Thanks for the posts lyn, taken after I left Birmingham, Its just very nice to see how it changed as I only had a picture in my mind of how it used to be.
