National Memorial Arboretum

The Arriva bus company run bus 112 from Upper Bull St Birmingam directly to the NMB on its way to Burton On Trent. Arriva accept brum travel passes and if you want to travel before 9.30 it just costs £1.00. ( The bus can also be caught in Erdington, or Sutton ) Max

The 112 becomes the 12 when it reaches Lichfield. It is the No 12 which is being withdrawn end March

Bernard if you attended today, I was there but a lot had Blazers on :(, few pics in time :)
Sorry Dave, thats my sense of humour, I knew they all would be wearing blazers
I did go, they were a lot there, I asked two or three, mainly with cameras, around the fringe. I lined up with most of them in the front.Never seen so many
standards for a while, must have been ten or twelve. Pity I missed you, perhaps
another day. I couldnt get on with my new camera, reverted to the old 35mm in
the end.The rain just about held off didnt it?At the end a young lady in the Air
Cadets fainted and had to be taken away in a buggy. Looking forward to your
pics, as usual, Cheers, Bernard

Hi Dave, dont know how I missed you, I was in the foreground of the pic No3, most of the time I was standing near that
little wooden hut thing, with seats in. As I said couldnt do much with my new camera, will take time getting used to it.
We will have to arrange another day when there are not so many in blazers! cheers now Bernard
Naomi my grandaughter wants to go again.

I can see myself on 4of4, in the background, inbetween two ladies! You really do take some super photos, what a pity we were not able to have a chat, or a coffee together. Bernard

the big fella at the back was from Birmingham, he had taken his Dad who had been out in Suez with the
Grenadier Guards about the time I was there. I am hoping to get to the St Georges Day Meet, if I can talk my son into bringing me, Bernard ps on enlarging the pic I am hiding behind a wooden post
